Discografia Whitechapel 320 kbps

Whitechapel es una banda estadounidense de Brutal Death Metal y Deathcore proveniente de Knoxville, Tennessee, formada en el 2006.

Whitechapel fue formada por Phil Bozeman, Brandon Cagle y Ben Savage, pero pronto se unirian a la banda Alex Wade (ex Redwinterdying), Zach Householder, Gabe Crisp y Derek Martin, ya estando juntos, lanzaron una serie de demos en marzo de ese año. El nombre de la banda proviene de un barrio de Londres, en el cual Jack el Destripador habia cometido sus crimenes.[1] En el 2007 la banda firmo con Siege Of Amida Records SOAR para lanzar su material en Reino Unido y con Candlelight Records para Estados Unidos y en poco tiempo lanzaron su album debut, titulado The Somatic Defilement ya con el nuevo baterista oficial, Kevin Lane, en Junio de ese año

En Octubre del 2007, la banda firmo contrato con Metal Blade Records, y el el 2008 lanzaron su album, titulado This Is Exile. El album quedo en el lugar #118 en el Billboard Top 200. En mayo del 2008, la banda salio de gira y participo en el The Summer Slaughter Tour, y en Agosto de ese año encabezaron una gira junto con Impending Doom, A Different Breed Of Killer y Through The Eyes Of The Dead. Ellos también han compartido giras junto a bandas populares como Unearth, Suffocation y Carcass. La banda ha producido videos para las canciones «Possession» y «This is Exile». Whitechapel también participa en el Rockstar Mayhem Festival en el escenario Hot Topic junto a Job for a Cowboy, Cannibal Corpse, Behemoth y The Black Dahlia Murder. Su nuevo disco que posee 12 canciones incluyendo un Bonus Track el disco se llamara A New Era Of Corruption que fue lazado el 8 de julio del 2010.

August Burns Red (Constellaions 2009)

August Burns Red es una banda de Technical Metalcore originaria de Lancaster (Pensilvania).

"Constellations" es su tercer trabajo de larga duración, publicado en 2009.

La verdad es que se alejan bastante de la línea de los típicos grupos de Metalcore, no sólo por sus líricas (relacionadas con el cristianismo) sino por los riffs, el sonido ultra-técnico de la batería y las voces rasgadas (presentando también influencias de Hardcore). Incluso podemos disfrutar de algunos toques de Post-Metal, como en "Meridian".

A Headbanger Journey´s (El Viaje De Un Metalero)

Metal: A Headbanger's Journey es un documental del año 2005. Dirigido por Sam Dunn, un antropólogo canadiense de 31 años de edad, quien ha sido un fanático del heavy metal desde los 12 años de edad. En el documental viaja alrededor del mundo, para revelar las opiniones y mitos acerca del heavy metal, incluyendo sus orígenes, la controversia que rodea el género, y la razón de por qué es amado por tanta gente, así como también explorar la cultura del heavy metal. La película hizo su debút en el "Festival internacional de la película en Toronto 2005"(2005 Toronto International Film Festival) y fue lanzada como edición especial en doble DVD en los E.E.U.U. el 19 de septiembre de 2006.

El filme comienza con una discusión de sobre quien es realmente la primera banda de metal. Luego procede a discutir los rasgos y a los autores de algunos de muchos subgéneros del metal, incluyendo el Black Metal, Thrash metal y el Glam metal.

Dunn utiliza un árbol de géneros (organigrama) para documentar e ir explorando los diversos subgenéros del metal a través del filme. Uno de los segmentos más importantes es el viaje que realiza al festival Wacken Open Air, una entrevista con Dee Snider que provee de un análisis del ataque del PMRC contra el Heavy Metal, entrevistas con varias bandas de Black metal noruego muchas de las cuales apoyan el satanismo y discuten abiertamente sobre la quema de iglesias.

Will Killmore (Will Killmore 2011)

Esta es otra de esas bandas que te dejan pensando what the fuck!!!, tiene temas muy pegados y pesados, su musica goza de cierta velocidad y cierta tecnica que si bien los hace parecer nuevos, o sus distorciones podrian hacerlos parecer payasos lo unico que logran es que escuches una y otra vez sus rolas, aunque siendo sincero despues de 5 veces te aburre jaja...
